Level the Field, Raise the Bar Campaign
"Just as our children have benefitted from the generosity of past Panther families,
NOW is the time to pay it forward for future Prep students and families." —Parent P.J. Carlesimo
Substantial growth in enrollment and program over the last 10 years has forced the school to maximize every space on our limited urban campus — a good problem to have! The Level the Field, Raise the Bar Campaign is our response. Thanks to leadership gifts from the Lico and Merlino families, Seattle Prep is positioned to successfully complete this important campaign for equity and excellence. This $14.7 million campaign expands opportunities for all students at Seattle Prep and challenges us to continue to seek the magis.
Phase 1 of the campaign raised $3.8 million toward the creation of the Lico Athletic Complex including new locker rooms, trainers' spaces, Panther Place school store, gym lobby and Athletic Hall of Fame. Additionally, infrastructure upgrades were made to the Regina Melonson Learning Resource Center, Lee Family Arts Center and Healy Chapel and Theater.
Phase 2 of the campaign aims to raise $11.7 million for the construction of a new multi-use Merlino Center and relocation of the existing Rudolf Athletic Field to our Delmar property, the last undeveloped piece of Prep's campus.
