The purpose of a Pep Band is to support our school team by elevating the energy in the game venue. Our job is to cheer with our instruments, enliven and unify the crowd, and rally for success.Band students accrue artistic skills and life skills:discipline, perseverance, punctuality, reliability, professionalism, empathy, and grace.

Ms. Bost selects music for Pep Band that is popular with students (typically students vote on preferred music).Her previous Pep Bands have performed the music of Led Zeppelin, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, The White Stripes, Jackson 5, Lil Jon, Coldplay, Iggy Azalea, and the video game Halo.

Sarah Bost obtained her Masters in Music Education at the University of Washington. She has previously directed bands in the Seattle area Catholic schools and was the Director of Bands for the San Juan Island School District in Friday Harbor before attending graduate school. She brings enthusiasm, integrity, and rigor to the band room, and firmly believes in student ownership of the band program through decision-making, leadership, and a team atmosphere.
