Asian Pacific Islanders Club

 

The Asian Pacific-Islanders Club (APIC) is a group of students committed to creating a support system for each and every Asian/Pacific Islander-American student at Seattle Prep through cultural promotion, service, and discussion; and spreading awareness and enriching the environment at Seattle Prep by bringing Asian and Pacific Islander culture to the wider Seattle Prep community.

Aara Meas is the Asian Pacific-Islanders club moderator. In addition, she is the Pulse Dance Team coach.

Black Student Union

The Seattle Prep Black Student Union (BSU) serves as an advocacy organization for African-American students. The group actively supports students emotionally and academically while participating in functions on and off campus that enrich and enlighten the journey of African-American students.

Deino Scott '74 is the moderator of the BSU and has been teaching and coaching at Seattle Prep for over 17 years. He is entering his sixth year as Prep's Diversity Director.

LATINO Club

The Latino Club is a group of students who both identify as Latino/a and those who are interested in being a part of a welcoming community. Latino Club strives to provide opportunities to get involved in the greater Latino community as well as in the Seattle Prep community. The Latino Club meets regularly and gives students a place to voice their opinions and perspectives as well has have fun interacting in a safe social setting with their peers.
