Track
Program Philosophy
Welcome to Panther Track & Field. The Track & Field Team is the largest team and the largest co-ed team at Seattle Prep. We enjoy a family atmosphere led by a team of dedicated coaches.
There are no tryouts or cuts in track and field and no experience is needed. Generally more than half of our team had never participated before joining. Our coaching staff seeks to help each individual find events in which he or she can be most successful. Track also offers an outstanding opportunity for newcomers to earn a varsity letter.
Triple Crown Champion
Former Prep athlete Will Floyd won not one, not two, but three individual state titles during the spring 2022 WIAA track & field championships, winning the 100, 200 & 400M race. The State’s first “triple crown” winner since 2006. (photo by Keenan Gray)
