Girls Swim & Dive

Program Philosophy

We truly believe that swimming is a Lifelong Sport; one that can positively affect so many different aspects of one's life. This is a co-curricular activity that can:

  • Promote physical fitness
  • Develop leadership qualities and sportsmanship
  • Champion team involvement and mentorship
  • Build self-confidence and positive body-image awareness
  • Cultivate strong time management skills, including educational prioritization

Above all, our girls swim & dive program aims to create a fun, positive and supportive atmosphere for our team to reach it's goals.

PROGRAM HEAD

Kirsti Rochon brings more than 20 years of swim instruction and coaching experience into her role as Program Head. An avid swimmer and triathlete herself, she grew up swimming at Bellevue Club and on Mercer Island (Mercerwood Shore Club & Mercer Island High School), including being a part of a 4-year run as State Champions.

Named Program Head of Seattle Prep in 2016, she's brought a join and passion for the sport that has been contagious.  That enthusiasm has helped the program double in numbers under her watch, while also achieving top results at Metro, District and State levels.
