Girls Lacrosse
Program Philosophy
Lacrosse is a sport that takes immense athletic ability as well as mental toughness. Our program seeks to attract athletes who have played before, but also those who are willing to learn the game. The coaching staff strives to create a competitive, but positive environment for our student athletes. We focus on teamwork and character development along with building skills for lacrosse.
Girls lacrosse offer two levels of play - varsity and JV. The team practices and plays their home games at nearby Montlake Playfield.
PROGRAM HEAD
Cait Slack '08 is entering her sixth season as Program Head of girls lacrosse, and has been coaching the game for nine years. She also serves as an assistant on the girls cross country team and is a teacher on campus.
During her time she has seen the program grow in numbers and results and enjoys teaching the sport to both new and experience players.
As a former Panther she is excited to be back at Prep and continue to grow the program.
