Program Philosophy
This is an exciting time for Seattle Prep lacrosse. With more young men playing lacrosse at Prep than ever before, Prep has two full teams competing throughout the spring season. Both the JV and Varsity teams practice at Montlake field and play under the lights at Lower Woodland for their home games.
With more talent arriving each year, quality of lacrosse played on the field has been getting better and better as Prep competes with the best teams in the State. Come join Seattle Prep lacrosse and become a part of a team full of excitement and tradition.
PROGRAM HEAD
Sam Bennett, who also teaches mathematics at Seattle Prep, has a rich lacrosse background as both a coach and player.
As a youth competitor he was named to the US Lacrosse High School All-America Team (’08 – Stevenson HS, CA) before moving on to a successful collegiate career at Claremont McKenna College, where he was named Most Valuable Player following his senior season.
He has been coaching the game since 2014, the last five of which with the Panthers, first as an assistant coach and currently as the Program Head since 2022.
