Textbooks Click here to view our textbook list. Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, Seattle Prep will supply students with the textbooks and novels they need and will charge student accounts in the fall. On rare occasions, families may be asked to purchase a textbook on their own. These will be communicated by the teacher in the beginning of the semester.
Please click here to see calculator requirements as determined by the Math Department.
Seattle Prep does not publish a school supply list. Students should have basic supplies (pens, pencils, paper) at the beginning of the school year. Individual teachers will communicate specific supply needs (i.e composition notebook, graph paper, binder, etc.) at the beginning of the semester. Organization and supply need are otherwise determined by the individual student/family.

In mid August, students who are interested in purchasing lunch at school will register with MySchoolBucks for all payments. This online payment service provides a quick and easy way to add money to your student’s meal account using a credit/debit card or electronic check.
Student ID numbers are required for registration. Freshmen can access their ID numbers in the Veracross Parent Portal after Monday, August 1. Current students should use their existing ID numbers.
Further instructions will be provided here at that time.
You will have the opportunity to review any fees and cancel if you choose, before you are charged. There is a $2 charge per transaction.
If you have any questions about registering with this online system contact MySchoolBucks directly:
Those who qualify for assistance with food costs from Prep still need to create an account. We will have the ability to add lunch assistance to each individual student’s account each month. Questions about financial assistance for lunch should be directed to Mr. Deino Scott, Director of Diversity.
All freshmen, sophomores and juniors will have one picture taken during orientation. The picture will serve as the ID picture for the ASB card and the yearbook portrait picture. These portrait pictures will be used in the yearbook, so please dress accordingly. More information about ordering portrait packages to come.
All Senior Yearbook FORMAL Portraits will be taken at Prep Tuesday, August 23. Your Yearbook color photo is a FORMAL graduation photo, so the following dress requirements must be followed if you wish to have your picture included in the yearbook:
Boys: A dress shirt and tie. (Optional: a sport jacket, suit or dress sweater)
Girls: A dress or a dress sweater or a dress blouse.
No exceptions will be made to these requirements.

Seattle Prep uses a system of Student Accounts for student charges throughout the school year.

Student Accounts are used for various expenses including:
AP exams, honor cords
field trips/service trips
Student Accounts are NOT used for lunch and cafeteria expenses. Families need to sign-up for MySchoolBucks to purchase food/beverages at school.
