Program Philosophy

Golf is a fall sport at Seattle Prep and within the Metro League. 

The Panther golf program is one that annually competes at the championship level.  The co-ed practice environment creates a culture of equal support for both the boys and girls teams.

Meet the Program Head

Gilbert Quitlong is entering his third season leading the Seattle Prep program. His passion for teaching, a love for the game of golf and a rich coaching resume to the position and will be poised to help Seattle Prep golf remain competitive in both the Metro League and at the District and State levels. 

Currently, Coach Quitlong is a PGA Associate teaching professional, working out of Seattle’s Jefferson Golf Course.  Additionally, he serves as the golf professional for the Washington Athletic Club.
