We are thrilled to present Seattle Prep’s second annual Alumni Week—a celebration of Panther pride, lifelong connections, and the enduring spirit of our alumni community.
Alumni Week is a testament to the deep appreciation and gratitude we hold for our graduates—you are the heart of Prep’s legacy, carrying forward the Jesuit values of cura personalis, magis, ad majorem Dei gloriam, and virtus in arduis.
This special week is built around three core pillars:
Events that bring alumni together to reconnect and celebrate
A spirited Battle of the Decades supporting class endowments that help fund tuition assistance.
And meaningful opportunities for Service that reflect our mission
To all of our alumni, we say thank you—and please, lean in.
The Battle of the Decades is back for its second year — and the competition is officially on! This friendly, participation-based challenge brings alumni together across generations to support Prep’s mission, show Panther pride, and expand access to Jesuit education.
Last year, the 1990s claimed the title and set the bar high. Will they defend their crown, or will another decade step up and steal the spotlight?
Here’s how it works:
Each alumni class has its own endowment fund. During Alumni Week (May 14–21), alumni are invited to make a gift to their class endowment. Every gift — no matter the amount — counts as one participation point for your decade.
It’s not about how much you give — it’s about how many Panthers show up.
Why it matters:
All funds raised go directly to class endowments, which provide tuition assistance for students who couldn’t otherwise afford a Seattle Prep education. Today, 22% of Prep students benefit from more than $3 million in financial aid each year — support made possible because of alumni participation. Your gift helps ensure the next generation of Panthers has access to the same transformative education you did.
The decade with the highest participation will be crowned the 2026 Battle of the Decades Champion and earn:
🏆 Bragging rights (always first!)
🏆 Recognition on the commemorative trophy presented at the Alumni Pickleball Tournament
🏆 A feature mention in Panther Tracks
So rally your classmates, represent your decade, and make an impact. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your participation is what counts.
Give. Represent. Make a difference.
Participate in the Battle of the Decades and support the next generation of Prep Panthers.
Kick off Alumni Week by stepping back onto campus for an evening of creativity and connection during Panther Arts Fest. In partnership with the Seattle Prep Art Department, alumni are invited to a reception then enjoy student artwork, performances, and creative showcases across disciplines — from visual arts to music, film, and performance.
This reception is a chance to reconnect with fellow alumni, experience the energy of today’s students, and see firsthand the incredible creative work happening at Prep right now.

Let’s celebrate Alumni Week in true Seattle style—Go Mariners and Go Panthers!
As part of Alumni Week, all alumni from 1976 and earlier are invited to celebrate Seattle Prep's Golden Panthers and welcome the newly inducted Class of 1976 on their 50th anniversary!
This year’s celebration is especially meaningful as we also honor 50 years of Seattle Prep as a coeducational school - marking the first time women graduates will join us as Golden Panthers! We look forward to recognizing this milestone and celebrating the generations of alumni who helped shape the Prep community we know today.
Join us for Mass and a luncheon while reconnecting, sharing stories, and celebrating Prep pride with your fellow Golden Panthers.
Saturday, May 16, 2026
Seattle Prep — 11:30AM Coffee Social; Mass at Noon followed by lunch

Alumni Week is not just about reconnecting—it’s also about recommitting to the values that shaped us at Prep. Join us for Prep Alumni Service Day on Tuesday, May 19, as we put our Jesuit identity into action through service.
Join fellow alumni at the University District Food Bank for a meaningful afternoon of service, supporting our community through hands-on work alongside one another. Whether you’re greeting guests, helping distribute food, or working behind the scenes, it’s a powerful way to reconnect while putting our Jesuit mission into action.
