Leadership at Prep
President Jordan
Robert T. Jordan has served as the president of Seattle Preparatory School since February 1, 2023. Robert previously served as an Executive Consultant/Chief of Staff for National Enterprise Business Services at Kaiser Permanente Health Plan and Hospitals based in Oakland, CA. Prior to that he served for eight years as President of Justin-Siena High School in Napa, CA. For ten years, Robert served as an assistant director in the Office of Education for the west coast province (district) of the De La Salle Christian Brothers. There he provided leadership for schools of the district in the areas of board governance and mission formation for adults and students. Robert values having experiences both inside and outside of Catholic education. He holds a MA in Education Administration from Saint Mary’s College of California, and a MNA from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. He feels fortunate to have been formed by the De La Salle Christian Brothers and is excited to be on a similar journey now with the Jesuits.
Leadership at Prep is not by title, it is by example. It is by each person discerning for themselves what their contribution looks like to the greater glory of God and our community.

Principal Cote
Dale Cote will serve as Interim Principal of Seattle Prep for the 2025-26 academic year. In June Dale retired from a 38-year dedicated career in education. Most recently he served in his fifth year as the Associate Superintendent of School Support Services in the Lake Washington School District (LWSD), the second-largest school district in the state. Dale oversaw the principal supervisors for 56 schools, along with the Director of Athletics and Activities and the Director of Research, Data, and Accountability. Prior to that role, Dale served as a Director in the LWSD for eight years, supervising multiple school administrators. Dale has also served as a high school principal, middle and high school associate principal, teacher, coach, and advisor in multiple school districts around the Puget Sound region.
My journey in education has always been focused on service on behalf of students to support their personal and academic growth, whether in the classroom, on the field, or in an activity. Coming to Seattle Prep with an opportunity to serve and partner with faculty, staff, and community is truly a privilege.
