Freshman Panther Day 10:30am
Seattle Prep will host all incoming freshmen on Sunday June 9 for a day of fun, food, and fellowship. Panther Day is designed to ease the transition into high school for incoming 9th graders. While most are excited to be transitioning into high school, many of your children are also experiencing some level of anxiety. It is natural and normal for incoming freshmen to experience equal parts excitement and fear with this new stage of life. Panther Day is designed to help alleviate some of those fears.
At Panther Days, freshmen will meet his or her Peer Mentor, get to know other students in the class of 2017, familiarize themselves with the campus, and learn what it means to be at a Jesuit school. Freshmen should wear comfortable clothes suitable for participation in active games and they should be prepared for inclement weather as June is often unpredictable and we will be spending time outside. Lunch will be provided.
Family Mass & BBQ: 3pm – 5pm
All incoming freshman families are invited to join us on campus for mass and a BBQ. Come at 3pm to celebrate mass with us in the Fr. Thomas Healy Chapel or come at 4pm for the family BBQ. All family members are invited!
